SEASON OPENER CHANGES   

While we prefer to keep the drama on stage, sometimes we experience it behind the scenes...

We were so looking forward to bringing you “The 39 Steps” as our season opener. However, we were recently informed that the performance rights were being been rescinded by the rights holder(s). In spite of our efforts, our appeal was denied. Occurrences like these are rare, but we all know the show must go on!

Undaunted, we were determined to find an equally comical alternative -- This October, we are pleased to be presenting “The Foursome” by the talented Canadian playwright (and officer of the Order of Canada), Norm Foster.

“The Foursome” is the story of four old college chums, home for their fifteen year reunion, who get together for a round of golf and share their successes and failures. This is a warm, funny play which takes place entirely on the eighteen tees of a golf course!

You may be asking, “Wait, aren’t you already presenting “The Ladies Foursome”?”

Don’t let the similar title and setting fool you — the two plays have completely different stories and we are confident they will each entertain you in their own way!
